Study Desk

I am a companion of all who fear You; yea, of those who keep Your Precepts.

For I am like a wineskin in the smoke; I do not forget Your Statutes.

I am Yours save me; for I have sought Your Precepts.

I am greatly afflicted; O Jehovah, give me life according to Your Word.

I am Your servant; make me consider, and I will know Your Testimonies.

I am small and despised; I do not forget Your Precepts.

I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war.

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is set on high; I am not able to reach it.

I will thank You, for with awesome ways I am distinguished; Your works are marvelous, and my soul knows it very well.

If I should count them, they are more than the sand; when I awake I am still with You.

O Jehovah, do not I hate those hating You? And am I not detesting those rising against You?

Attend to my cry; for I am brought very low; deliver me from those who pursue me; for they are stronger than I.

O Jehovah, deliver me from my enemies; by You I am covered.

And in Your mercy cut off my enemies; and exterminate all those who distress my soul; for I am Your servant.

Counsel and sound wisdom are mine; I am understanding; I have strength.

Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?

so is a man who deceives his neighbor and says, Am I not joking?

Surely I am more brutish than anyone, and I do not have the understanding of a man.

I am black, but comely, O daughters of Jerusalem, like the tents of Kedar, like the curtains of Solomon.

Do not look at me, that I am black, that the sun has looked on me. My mother's sons were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but my own vineyard I have not kept.
