When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near to the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.

And if the whole congregation of Israel go wrong, and the thing is hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which should not be done and are guilty;

When the sin which they have committed against it is known, then the whole congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin and bring it before the tabernacle of the congregation.

And they shall carry forth the bullock outside the camp and burn it as he burned the first bullock; it is a sin offering for the congregation.

And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the LORD; it is a sin offering.

And the remainder of it shall Aaron and his sons eat; with unleavened bread shall it be eaten in a holy place; in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation shall they eat it.

This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons which they shall offer to the LORD on the day when he is anointed: a tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a perpetual meal offering, half of it in the morning and half of it in the evening, continually.

In the place where they kill the burnt offering they shall kill the trespass offering; and its blood shall they sprinkle round about upon the altar.

This is the portion of the anointing of Aaron and of the anointing of his sons from the offerings of the LORD made by fire, on the day when they are presented to minister to the LORD in the priests office;

And Moses took them from off their hands, and burned them on the altar as a burnt offering; they were consecration offerings for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire to the LORD.

And they brought everything that Moses had commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation; and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD.

And they presented the burnt offering to him, and he cut it into pieces and burned the head upon the altar.

And they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burned the fat upon the altar;

And there came a fire out from before the LORD and consumed the burnt offering and the fat upon the altar, which all the people saw; they gave praise and fell on their faces.

And there went out fire from before the LORD and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

So they drew near and carried them in their vestments out of the camp; as Moses had said.

And you shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, lest you die; for the anointing oil of the LORD is upon you. And they did according to the word of Moses.

And the wave breast and shoulder offering you shall eat in a clean place; you and your sons and your daughters with you; for they are your due and your sons due which are given out of the sacrifices of peace offerings of the children of Israel.

The shoulder offering and the wave breast they shall bring with the offerings of the fat, made by fire, to wave it as a wave offering before the LORD; and it shall be yours and your sons with you by a statute for ever; as the LORD has commanded, that Aaron and his sons shall eat it.

And Aaron said to Moses, Behold, this day they have offered their sin offerings and their burnt offerings before the LORD; and such things have befallen me; and if I had eaten the sin offering today, should it have been better accepted in the presence of the LORD?
