Even the LORD, the God Tzva'ot,; The LORD is his name of renown!

A merchant has dishonest scales in his hand. He loves to defraud.

Efrayim has provoked to anger most bitterly. Therefore his blood will be left on him, And his his Lord will repay his contempt.

The guilt of Efrayim is stored up. His sin is stored up.

Though he is fruitful among his brothers, an east wind will come, The breath of the LORD coming up from the wilderness; And his spring will become dry, And his fountain will be dried up. He will plunder the storehouse of treasure.

I will be like the dew to Yisra'el. He will blossom like the lily, And send down his roots like Levanon.

His branches will spread, And his beauty will be like the olive tree, And his fragrance like Levanon.

Men will dwell in his shade. They will revive like the grain, And blossom like the vine. Their fragrance will be like the wine of Levanon.

For a nation has come up on my land, strong, and without number. His teeth are the teeth of a lion, And he has the fangs of a lioness.

They run like mighty men. They climb the wall like warriors. They each march in his line, and they don't swerve off course.

Neither does one jostle another; They march everyone in his path, And they burst through the defenses, And don't break ranks.

The LORD thunders his voice before his army; For his forces are very great; For he is strong who obeys his command; For the day of the LORD is great and very awesome, And who can endure it?

Gather the people. Sanctify the assembly. Assemble the Zakenim. Gather the children, and those who suck the breasts. Let the bridegroom go forth from his room, And the bride out of her chamber.

Then the LORD was jealous for his land, And had pity on his people.

The LORD answered his people, "Behold, I will send you grain, new wine, and oil, And you will be satisfied with them; And I will no more make you a reproach among the nations.

The LORD will roar from Tziyon, And thunder from Yerushalayim; And the heavens and the eretz will shake; But the LORD will be a refuge to his people, And a stronghold to the children of Yisra'el.

He said: The LORD will roar from Tziyon, And utter his voice from Yerushalayim; And the pastures of the shepherds will mourn, And the top of Karmel will.wither."

Thus says the LORD: "For three transgressions of Edom, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; Because he pursued his brother with the sword, And cast off all pity, And his anger raged continually, And he kept his wrath forever;

And their king will go into captivity, He and his princes together," says the LORD.

Thus says the LORD: "For three transgressions of Yehudah, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; Because they have rejected the law of the LORD, And have not kept his statutes, And their lies have led them astray, After which their fathers walked;
