And they have tails like scorpions, and stings; and in their tails is their power to hurt men five months.

They have over them as king the angel of the abyss: his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek [tongue] he has the name Apollyon.

And the four angels were loosed, that had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, that they should kill the third part of men.

For the power of the horses is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails are like serpents, and have heads; and with them they hurt.

And even the rest of men, who were not killed with these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and the idols of gold, and of silver, and of bronze, and of stone, and of wood; which can neither see, nor hear, nor walk:

and they did not repent of their murders, nor of their witchcraft, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

And they say to me, You must prophesy again over many peoples and nations and tongues and kings.

And the court which is outside the temple leave outside, and do not measure it; for it has been given to the nations: and they shall tread the holy city under foot forty and two months.

And I will give to my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

These have the power to shut the heaven, that it not rain during the days of their prophecy: and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to smite the earth with every plague, as often as they shall desire.

And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss shall make war with them, and overcome them, and kill them.

And those that dwell on the earth rejoice over them, and make merry; and they shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented those that dwell on the earth.

And after the three days and a half the breath of life from God entered into them, and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell on those that watched them.

And they heard a great voice from heaven saying to them, Come up here. And they went up into heaven in the cloud; and their enemies watched them.

And the seventh angel sounded; and there followed great voices in heaven, and they said, The kingdom of the world has become [the kingdom] of our Lord, and of his Christ: and he shall reign forever and ever.

And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared of God, that there they may nourish her a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

And they did not prevail, neither was their place found anymore in heaven.

And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony; and they did not love their life even to death.

and they worshiped the dragon, because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like the beast? And who is able to war with him?

And he deceives those that dwell on the earth by reason of the signs which it was given him to do in the sight of the beast; saying to those that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast who has the stroke of the sword and lived.
