But when his talmidim saw it, they were indignant, saying, "Why this waste?

He answered, "He who dipped his hand with me in the dish, the same will betray me.

Then Yeshua came with them to a place called Gat-Shemanim, and said to his talmidim, "Sit here, while I go there and pray."

He went forward a little, fell on his face, and prayed, saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me; nevertheless, not what I desire, but what you desire."

Then he came to his talmidim, and said to them, "Sleep on now, and take your rest. Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

Behold, one of those who were with Yeshua stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck the servant of the Kohen Gadol, and struck off his ear.

But Yeshua held his shalom. The Kohen Gadol answered him, "I adjure you by the living God, that you tell us whether you are the Messiah, the Son of God."

Then the Kohen Gadol tore his clothing, saying, "He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Behold, now you have heard his blasphemy.

Then they spit in his face and beat him with their fists, and some slapped him,

While he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying, "Have nothing to do with that righteous man, for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him."

So when Pilate saw that nothing was gained, but rather that a disturbance was starting, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, "I am innocent of the blood of this righteous person. You see to it."

All the people answered, "May his blood be on us, and on our children!"

They braided a crown of thorns and put it on his head, and a reed in his right hand; and they kneeled down before him, and mocked him, saying, "Hail, King of the Yehudim!"

When they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his clothes on him, and led him away to crucify him.

As they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Shim`on by name, and they compelled him to go with them, that he might carry his cross.

When they had crucified him, they divided his clothing among them, casting lots,

They set up over his head his accusation written, "THIS IS YESHUA, THE KING OF THE YEHUDIM."

Then there were two robbers crucified with him, one on his right hand and one on the left.

Yeshua cried again with a loud voice, and yielded up his spirit.

and coming forth out of the tombs after his resurrection, they entered into the holy city and appeared to many.
