And Nadab and Abihu died before Yahweh, when they offered strange fire before Yahweh, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no sons; and Eleazar and Ithamar served in the priest's office in the presence of Aaron their father.

Bring the tribe of Levi near, and set them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister to him.

And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tent of meeting, to do the service of the tabernacle.

And they shall keep all the furniture of the tent of meeting, and the charge of the sons of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.

And you shall give the Levites to Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given to him on the behalf of the sons of Israel.

And you shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall keep their priesthood: and the stranger that comes near shall be put to death.

And their charge shall be the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the vessels of the sanctuary with which they minister, and the screen and its service.

and they shall spread on them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in the poles thereof.

And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and its lamps, and its snuffers, and its snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, with which they minister to it:
