Matthew 20:29-34; Luke 18:35-43">[xr] Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging.

And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus.

Then Jesus said to him, "Go your way; your faith has made you well." And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.

Now when they drew near Jerusalem, to Bethphage [fn] and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples;

In response Jesus said to it, "Let no one eat fruit from you ever again." And His disciples heard it.

And the scribes and chief priests heard it and sought how they might destroy Him; for they feared Him, because all the people were astonished at His teaching.

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, "Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

Therefore still having one son, his beloved, he also sent him to them last, saying, "They will respect my son.'

Matthew 22:15-22; Luke 20:20-26">[xr] Then they sent to Him some of the Pharisees and the Herodians, to catch Him in His words.

"Teacher, Moses wrote to us that if a man's brother dies, and leaves his wife behind, and leaves no children, his brother should take his wife and raise up offspring for his brother.

Therefore David himself calls Him "Lord'; how is He then his Son?" And the common people heard Him gladly.

Matthew 23:1-7; Luke 20:45-47">[xr] Then He said to them in His teaching, "Beware of the scribes, who desire to go around in long robes, love greetings in the marketplaces,

So He called His disciples to Himself and said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury;

Matthew 24:1,2; Luke 21:5,6">[xr] Then as He went out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him, "Teacher, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!"

Now brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.

Let him who is on the housetop not go down into the house, nor enter to take anything out of his house.

And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes.

And then He will send His angels, and gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven.

It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch.

Matthew 26:6-13; John 12:1-8">[xr] And being in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, as He sat at the table, a woman came having an alabaster flask of very costly oil of spikenard. Then she broke the flask and poured it on His head.
