And the people stood by, watching. And even the rulers were sneering at Him, saying, "He saved others; let Him save Himself if this is the Christ of God, His Chosen One."

And all His acquaintances and the women who accompanied Him from Galilee were standing at a distance, seeing these things.

Now the women who had come with Him from Galilee followed, and they saw the tomb and how His body was laid.

And they remembered His words,

Nevertheless, Peter got up and ran to the tomb; and when he stooped and looked in, he saw the linen wrappings only; and he went away to his home, marveling at what had happened.

and did not find His body, they came, saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said that He was alive.

"Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and to come into His glory?"

And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet.

and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them.

A man came, one sent from God, and his name was John.

He came to His own, and His own people did not accept Him.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name,

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us; and we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.

"It is He who comes after me, of whom I am not worthy even to untie the strap of His sandal."

Again the next day John was standing with two of his disciples,

He first found his own brother Simon and said to him, "We have found the Messiah" (which translated means Christ).

and both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.

His mother said to the servants, "Whatever He tells you, do it."
