I am even wiser than my elders, for I have kept your commandments.

I am determined to keep your decrees to the very end.

I am your servant; deal with me in unfailing love, and teach me your decrees.

I am overwhelmed with indignation, for my enemies have disregarded your words.

I am insignificant and despised, but I don't forget your commandments.

I am tired of living among people who hate peace.

I am counting on the Lord ; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.

Though I am surrounded by troubles, you will protect me from the anger of my enemies. You reach out your hand, and the power of your right hand saves me.

You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord .

A psalm of David. O Lord , I am calling to you. Please hurry! Listen when I cry to you for help!

When I am overwhelmed, you alone know the way I should turn. Wherever I go, my enemies have set traps for me.

Hear my cry, for I am very low. Rescue me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me.

I am losing all hope; I am paralyzed with fear.

Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you.

In your unfailing love, silence all my enemies and destroy all my foes, for I am your servant.

Praise the Lord ! Let all that I am praise the Lord .

for I am giving you good guidance. Don't turn away from my instructions.
