Greet the brothers who are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the assembly that is in his house.

and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead -- Yeshua, who delivers us from the wrath to come.

As you know how we exhorted, comforted, and implored everyone of you, as a father does his own children,

to the end that you should walk worthily of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Isn't it even you, before our Lord Yeshua at his coming?

to the end he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Yeshua with all his holy ones.

that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor,

Therefore he who rejects, doesn't reject man, but God, who has also given his Ruach HaKodesh to you.

and to give relief to you that are afflicted with us, when the Lord Yeshua is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire,

who will pay the penalty: eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might,

when he comes to be glorified in his holy ones, and to be admired among all those who have believed (because our testimony to you was believed) in that day.

Now you know what is restraining him, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season.

Then will the lawless one be revealed, whom the Lord will kill with the breath of his mouth, and bring to nothing by the brightness of his coming;

However, for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me as chief, Yeshua the Messiah might display all his patience, for an example of those who were going to believe in him to eternal life.

one who rules his own house well, having children in subjection with all reverence;

(but if a man doesn't know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the assembly of God?)

But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and specially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.

For the Scripture says, "You shall not muzzle the ox when he treads out the grain." And, "The laborer is worthy of his wages."

Don't be ashamed therefore of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me, his prisoner; but suffer hardship with the Good News according to the power of God,

who saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Messiah Yeshua before times eternal,
