This is the joyous city that dwelt carelessly, that said in her heart, I am, and there is none besides me: how has she become a desolation, a place for beasts to lie down in! every one that passes by her shall hiss, and wag his hand.

Then Haggai, Yahweh's messenger, spoke Yahweh's message to the people, saying, I am with you, says Yahweh.

Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, says Yahweh; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land, says Yahweh, and work: for I am with you, says Yahweh of hosts,

So the angel that talked with me said to me, Cry out, saying, Thus says Yahweh of hosts: I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.

And I am very intensely displeased with the nations that are at ease; for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.

Thus says Yahweh of hosts: I am jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I am jealous for her with great wrath.

And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them back; for I have mercy on them; and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am Yahweh their God, and I will hear them.

whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty; and those that sell them say, Blessed be Yahweh, for I am rich; and their own shepherds don't pity them.

but he shall say, I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the ground; for man has acquired me from my youth.

A son honors his father, and a slave his master: if then I am a father, where is my honor? and if I am a master, where is my fear? says Yahweh of hosts to you, O priests, that despise my name. And you say, Wherein have we despised your name?

But cursed be the deceiver, who has in his flock a male, and vows, and sacrifices to the Lord a blemished thing; for I am a great King, says Yahweh of hosts, and my name is awesome among the Gentiles.

I indeed baptize you in water to repentance: but he that comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and [in] fire:

and look, a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

And the captain answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that you should come under my roof; but only say the word, and my [young] slave shall be healed.

For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this one, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my slave, Do this, and he does it.

And when he came into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus says to them, Do you believe that I am able to do this? They say to him, Yes, Lord.

Take my yoke on you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest to your souls.

He says to them, But who do you say that I am?

While he was yet speaking, look, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and look, a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear him.

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them.
