When the Roman officer in charge of the execution saw this, he fell down on his knees and cried out, "This man was indeed innocent of any crimes we've punished him for."

After this was done, they went home to prepare spices and perfumes for Jesus's body. They wouldn't be able to go and put them on him until after the day of rest was over.

The women came close to freakin' out, and they hit the ground and bowed low before the two cowboys. One of the men asked, "Why do you search a tomb for one who is alive?

The one you look for isn't here. He has ridden back from the dead. He told y'all this would happen, 'Sinners will double-cross God's Top Hand and be strung up, but he will come riding back on the third day.'"

But Pete had to see for himself. He ran to the tomb and looked. All that was inside was the linen cloth. He went back and wondered what had happened to Jesus.

When they sat down to eat, Jesus took the bread and gave thanks to God for it. He broke it and handed it out.

When this happened, the two cowboys were allowed to recognize him for who he was and then he disappeared!

It also said that if anyone would turn from sin and ride for me, I would forgive their sins. This good news has started in Jerusalem and will go out to every nation on earth.

They stayed there for a while and worshiped​ him. Then they returned to Jerusalem, ​and their hearts were full of joy.

And for a long time, they stayed at the main church. They continually thanked God for all he had done.

But because of his love, he offered the chance for every cowboy and cowgirl to become one of God's kids just by believing in him.

When a cowboy becomes one of God's kids, nothing really happens to them physically. The transformation occurs in their soul. They are branded and marked for eternity by God himself.

The next day John saw Jesus riding toward him. John yelled out, "Will everyone just look at that! Here is the Lamb of God who will be sacrificed for the forgiveness of all the world's sins.

Jesus knew he was being tailed so he asked, "What can I do for y'all, cowboys?"They replied, "Hey Boss, where are you stayin'?"

The following day Jesus decided to ride out for Galilee. He saw a cowboy named Phil and told him, "Come and ride with me."

"Nazareth?" Nate said doubtfully. "Has there ever been anything good that came from Nazareth?"Phil waved him on and said, "Come, and you will see for yourself!"

Jesus again smiled and said, "You believe in who I am because I said I saw you sittin' underneath that tree. But you will see many greater things than that when you ride for me. I'm tellin' you straight. You are going to see right into heaven and watch as angels come down and talk to me and go back up. I am the bridge between heaven and earth."

"That ain't none of my business," Jesus replied. "I'm staying out of the limelight for now, but my time will come."

There were six water barrels nearby that the Jews used for their ritual washing. Each barrel could hold about thirty gallons.

"Most people serve the best wine first. After everyone is drunk, then they bring out the cheap stuff. But you did so differently. You saved the best wine for last."
