Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, says the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land, says the LORD, and work; for I am with you, says the LORD of hosts.

So the angel who spoke with me said to me, Proclaim and say, Thus says the LORD of hosts: I am zealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great zeal.

And I am very angry with the nations who are raging; for while I was but a little angry, they helped to carry the disaster to the extreme.

Therefore thus says the LORD: I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies; my house shall be built in it, says the LORD of hosts, and a measuring line shall be stretched forth over Jerusalem.

Thus says the LORD of hosts: I am moved for Zion with great zeal. I am moved for her with great indignation.

And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them back again; for I will have mercy upon them; and they shall be as though I had not forgotten them; for I am the LORD God and will answer them.

But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am a farmer; and a man made me zealous to prophesy from my youth.

A son honors his father, and a servant his master; if then I am a father, where is my honor? And if I am a master, where is my fear? says the LORD of hosts to you, O priests, who despise my name. And if you say, In what have we despised thy name?

Cursed be he who has in his flock a ram, and vows and sacrifices for the LORD that which is sick; for I am a great King, says the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreaded among the Gentiles.

For I am the LORD, I change not; but you sons of Jacob have not departed from your iniquities.

I am just baptizing you with water for repentance; but he who is coming after me is greater than I, the one even whose shoes I am not worthy to remove; he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

And behold, a voice from heaven, which said, This is my beloved Son, with whom I am pleased.

The centurion then answered and said, My Lord, I am not good enough that you should enter under the shadow of my roof; but just say a word, and my boy will be healed.

For I am also a man in government service, and there are soldiers under my command; and I say to this one, Go, and he goes; and to the other, Come, and he comes; and to my servant, Do this, and he does it.

Behold, I am sending you like lambs among the wolves; therefore be wise as serpents, and pure as doves.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am genial and meek in my heart, and you will find rest to your souls.

Behold my servant with whom I am pleased, my beloved one, in whom my soul rejoices; I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will preach justice to the peoples.

And he answered and said to them, I am not sent, except to the sheep which went astray from the house of Israel.

When Jesus came to the country of Caesarea of Philippi, he asked his disciples saying, What do the men say concerning me, that I am merely a son of man?

He said to them, Who do you say that I am?
