"And he said, 'The God of our fathers has appointed you to know His will and to see the Righteous One and to hear a message from His mouth.

For I long to see you so that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be established;

And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do those things that are not proper,

but I see a different law in the parts of my body waging war against the law of my mind, and making me a prisoner of the law of sin, the law which is in my body's parts.

But if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it.

just as it is written: "GOD GAVE THEM A SPIRIT OF STUPOR, EYES TO SEE NOT AND EARS TO HEAR NOT, DOWN TO THIS VERY DAY."

"MAY THEIR EYES BE DARKENED TO SEE NOT, AND BEND THEIR BACKS CONTINUALLY."

See then the kindness and severity of God: to those who fell, severity, but to you, God's kindness, if you continue in His kindness; for otherwise you too will be cut off.

but just as it is written: "THEY WHO HAVE NOT BEEN TOLD ABOUT HIM WILL SEE, AND THEY WHO HAVE NOT HEARD WILL UNDERSTAND."

whenever I go to Spain—for I hope to see you in passing, and to be helped on my way there by you, when I have first enjoyed your company for a while—

For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully, just as I also have been fully known.

For I do not want to see you now just in passing; for I hope to remain with you for some time, if the Lord permits.

Now if Timothy comes, see that he has no reason to be afraid while among you, for he is doing the Lord's work, as I also am.
