in that I am commanding you today to love Yahweh your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, that you may live and multiply, and that Yahweh your God may bless you in the land where you are entering to possess it.

by loving Yahweh your God, by listening to His voice, and by holding fast to Him; for this is your life and the length of your days, that you may live in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them."

It is Yahweh your God who will cross ahead of you; He will destroy these nations before you, and you shall dispossess them. Joshua is the one who will cross ahead of you, just as Yahweh has spoken.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or be in dread of them, for Yahweh your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you."

when all Israel comes to appear before Yahweh your God at the place which He will choose, you shall read this law in front of all Israel in their hearing.

Assemble the people, the men and the women and little ones and the sojourner who is within your gates, so that they may hear and so that they may learn and fear Yahweh your God and be careful to do all the words of this law.

And their children, who have not known, will hear and learn to fear Yahweh your God, all the days you live on the land which you are about to cross the Jordan to possess."

Then My anger will be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them and hide My face from them, and they will be consumed, and many evils and troubles will find them, so that they will say in that day, ‘Is it not because our God is not among us that these evils have found us?'

"Take this book of the law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of Yahweh your God, that it may be there as a witness against you.

For I proclaim the name of Yahweh;Ascribe greatness to our God!

The Rock! His work is perfect,For all His ways are just;A God of faithfulness and without injustice,Righteous and upright is He.

Yahweh alone guided him,And there was no foreign god with him.

"But Jeshurun grew fat and kicked—You grew fat, thick, and sleek—Then he abandoned God who made him,And treated the Rock of his salvation with wicked foolishness.

They sacrificed to demons who were not God,To gods whom they have not known,New gods who came lately,Whom your fathers did not dread.

You neglected the Rock who begot you,And forgot the God who brought you forth.

They have made Me jealous with what is not God;They have provoked Me to anger with their idols.So I will make them jealous with those who are not a people;I will provoke them to anger with a wickedly foolish nation,

See now that I, I am He,And there is no god besides Me;It is I who put to death and give life.I have wounded, and it is I who heal,And there is no one who can deliver from My hand.

Now this is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the sons of Israel before his death.

"There is none like the God of Jeshurun,Who rides the heavens to your help,And through the skies in His majesty.

The eternal God is a dwelling place,And underneath are the everlasting arms;And He drove out the enemy from before you,And said, ‘Destroy!'
