See, all of them are false. Their works are nothing. Their objects of worship are empty wind.

"See! My servant, My chosen one! My much Loved, in Whom My soul is well pleased! I will put My Spirit on Him. He will say to the nations what is right from wrong.

See, the things told about in the past have happened. Now I speak about new things. Before they happen I will tell you about them."

Listen, you who do not hear! And look, you blind, that you may see.

You see many things, but you cannot tell what you see. Your ears are open, but you do not hear.

See, I will do a new thing. It will begin happening now. Will you not know about it? I will even make a road in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

All who make objects to worship are for nothing. The things they think are worth much are worth nothing. Those who speak for them do not see or know, so they will be put to shame.

See, all his friends will be put to shame, for the workmen themselves are only men. Let them all gather, let them stand up, let them shake with fear, and let them together be put to shame.

He burns half of it in the fire. Over this half he eats meat as he makes it ready, and is filled. He also warms himself and says, "O, I am warm. I see the fire."

They do not know, and they do not understand. For the Lord has covered their eyes so that they cannot see and their hearts so that they cannot understand.

See, they have become like dry grass. Fire burns them. They cannot take themselves away from the power of the fire. This is no fire for making one warm, or fire to sit by!

They are made now, not long ago. Before today you have never heard of them, or you would say, ‘See, I knew them.'

See, I have tested you, but not as silver. I have tested you in the fire of suffering.

This is what the Lord, the One Who saves Israel, and its Holy One, says to the hated One, to the One hated by the nations, to the Servant of rulers: "Kings will see and rise up. Rulers will also bow down, because of the Lord Who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel Who has chosen You."

See, these will come from far away. See, these will come from the north and from the west, and from the land of Sinim."

See, I have marked your names on My hands. Your walls are always before Me.

Then you will say in your heart, ‘Who has given birth to these for me? My children were taken from me, and I could not give birth. I was sent away and had no place of my own. Who has brought up these children? See, I was left alone. Where have these come from?'"

The Lord God says, "See, I will lift up My hand to the nations. I will raise My flag to the people. And they will bring your sons in their arms, and your daughters will be carried on their shoulders.

The Lord says, "Where is the writing of your mother's divorce, by which I have sent her away? To whom of those who owed Me money did I sell you? See, you were sold for your sins. For your wrong-doing your mother was sent away.

Why was there no man when I came? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Is My hand so short that it cannot pay for your life? Have I no power to take you out of trouble? See, I dry up the sea with My sharp words. I make the rivers a desert. Their fish smell bad because they do not have enough water, and die of thirst.
