(105-48) Blessed be the Lord the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say: So be it, so be it.

(106-2) Let them say so that have been redeemed by the Lord, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy: and gathered out of the countries.

(118-42) So shall I answer them that reproach me in any thing; that I have trusted in thy words.

(118-44) So shall I always keep thy law, for ever and ever.

(122-2) Behold as the eyes of servants are on the hands of their masters, As the eyes of the handmaid are on the hands of her mistress: so are our eyes unto the Lord our God, until he have mercy on us.

(124-2) In Jerusalem. Mountains are round about it: so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth now and for ever.

(126-4) As arrows in the hand of the mighty, so the children of them that have been shaken.

(130-2) If I was not humbly minded, but exalted my soul: As a child that is weaned is towards his mother, so reward in my soul.

So the ways of every covetous man destroy the souls of the possessors.

So he that goeth in to his neighbour’s wife, shall not be clean when he shall touch her.

The fault is not so great when a man hath stolen: for he stealeth to fill his hungry soul:

Nor will he yield to any man’s prayers, nor will he accept for satisfaction ever so many gifts.

If thou be wise, thou shalt be so to thyself: and if a scorner, thou alone shalt bear the evil.

As a tempest that passeth, so the wicked shall be no more: but the just is as an everlasting foundation.

As vinegar to the teeth, and smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that sent him.

As silver is tried by fire, and gold in the furnace: so the Lord trieth the hearts.

As the roaring of a lion, so also is the anger of a king: and his cheerfulness as the dew upon the grass.

The slothful hideth his hand under his armpit, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth.

As the roaring of a lion, so also is the dread of a king: he that provoketh him, sinneth against his own soul.

As the divisions of waters, so the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord: whithersoever he will, he shall turn it.
