And the children of Israel gave to the Levites these cities with their suburbs.

And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities, which are called by the name of the families of the Kohathites.

Shaphan, also, and Huphis, the sons of Aod, of the children of Hoshah.

And by the borders of the children of Manasseh, Beth-sechem and its towns, Taanach and its towns, Megiddo and its towns, and Dor and its towns. In these cities dwelt the children of Joseph the son of Israel.

Phael, and the children of Shishak, and Shimirah.

And in Jerusalem dwelt some of the children of Judah and of the children of Benjamin and of the children of Ephraim and of Manasseh:

And there came some of the children of Benjamin and Judah to the camp to David.

And of the children of Judah who bore sword and spear were six thousand and eight hundred mighty men of war.
