They want to be teachers of the law, yet they do not understand either what they are talking about or the things about which they speak so confidently.1 Timothy 6:4;">[xr]

in case I am delayed so that you may know how one is to behave in God's household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.Ephesians 2:21-22; 2 Timothy 2:20;">[xr]

Think on these things. Devote your life to them so that everyone can see your progress.

Continue to give these instructions so that they may be blameless.1 Timothy 1:3; 4:11; 6:17;">[xr]

If any womanman or woman">[fn] is a believer and has relatives who are widows, she should help them. The church should not be burdened so that it can help those who really are widows.1 Timothy 5:3,5;">[xr]

As for those who keep on sinning, rebuke them in front of everyone so that the others will also be afraid.Deuteronomy 13:11; Galatians 2:11,14; Titus 1:13;">[xr]

All who are under the yoke of slavery should regard their own masters as deserving of the highest respect,of full honor">[fn] so that the name of God and our teaching may not be discredited.slandered">[fn]Isaiah 52:5; Romans 2:24; Ephesians 6:5; Colossians 3:22; Titus 2:5,8-9; 1 Peter 2:18;">[xr]

So as long as we have food and clothes, we will be satisfied with these.Genesis 28:20; Hebrews 13:5;">[xr]

By doing this they store up a treasure for themselves that is a good foundation for the future, so that they can take hold of the life that is real.Matthew 6:20; 19:21; Luke 12:33; 16:9; 1 Timothy 6:12;">[xr]

recalling your tears and longing to see you so that I can be filled with joy.2 Timothy 4:9,21;">[xr]
