Because it is written, Be you holy, even as I am holy.

I EXHORT the ministers who are among you, for I also am a minister and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed.

Therefore I think it is right, as long as I am in this body, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;

For he received from God the Father honor and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent and majestic glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

I am Alpha and Omega, * the beginning and the ending says the LORD God, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.

The Spirit of prophecy came upon me on the LORD''S day, and I heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and,

And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

I am he who lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore. Amen; and have the keys of death and of hell.

And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he who searches the reins and hearts: and I will give unto everyone of you according to your works.

Because you say, I am rich and my wealth has increased, and I need nothing; and you do not know that you are miserable, and a wanderer, and poor, and blind, and naked:

For as much as she has glorified herself and lived deliciously, give her so much torment and sorrow: for she says in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow and shall see no sorrow.

And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said to me, Do not do that: I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

And he said to me, I am Aleph and Tau, Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will freely give of the fountain of living water to him who is thirsty.

Behold, I am coming soon: blessed is he who keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

And he said to me, Do not do that: I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book: worship God.

Behold, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

I am Aleph and Tau, Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

He who testifies these things says, Surely I am coming soon. Amen. Come, LORD Jesus.
