about righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will see me no longer;

Then some of his disciples said to one another, "What does he mean by saying to us, ‘A little while, and you will no longer see me, and again a little while, and you will see me'; and ‘Because I am going to the Father'?"

I came from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and am going to the Father."

The hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, each one to his home, and you will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone because the Father is with me.

I am asking on their behalf; I am not asking on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those whom you gave me, because they are yours.

And now I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one, as we are one.

But now I am coming to you, and I speak these things in the world so that they may have my joy made complete in themselves.

I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I ask you to protect them from the evil one.

that they may all be one. As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

Father, I desire that those also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory, which you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.

They answered, "Jesus of Nazareth." Jesus replied, "I am he." Judas, who betrayed him, was standing with them.

When Jesus said to them, "I am he," they stepped back and fell to the ground.

Jesus answered, "I told you that I am he. So if you are looking for me, let these men go."

Jesus said to Peter, "Put your sword back into its sheath. Am I not to drink the cup that the Father has given me?"

The woman said to Peter, "You are not also one of this man's disciples, are you?" He said, "I am not."

Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. They asked him, "You are not also one of his disciples, are you?" He denied it and said, "I am not."

Pilate replied, "I am not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests have handed you over to me. What have you done?"

Pilate asked him, "So you are a king?" Jesus answered, "You say that I am a king. For this I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice."

Pilate went out again and said to them, "Look, I am bringing him out to you to let you know that I find no case against him."

Then the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, "Do not write, ‘The King of the Jews,' but, ‘This man said, I am King of the Jews.'"
