But the man who is clean, and is not on a journey, and yet fails to keep the passover, at its appointed time, that person shall be cut off from among his people; because he brought not the offering of the LORD at its appointed time, that man shall suffer for his sin.

And if a proselyte shall sojourn among you and will keep the passover to the LORD, according to the ordinance of the passover and according to its statutes, so shall he do; you shall have one ordinance, both for the proselyte and for the native of the land.

Make two trumpets of silver; of casting work shall you make them, that you may use them for the calling of the assembly and for the journeying of the camps.

And when they blow with the second trumpet, the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey; they shall blow a trumpet for their journeys.

And the sons of Aaron the priest shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout your generations.

Also in the day of your gladness and in your solemn days and in the beginning of your months you shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings, that they may be to you for a memorial before your God; I am the LORD your God.

And they took their journey for the first time according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

And Moses said to Hobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses father-in-law, We are journeying to the place of which the LORD said, I will give it to you. Come with us, and we will do you good; for the LORD has spoken good concerning Israel.

And Moses said to him, Do not leave us, for you know how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and you will serve as a guide for us.

And they departed from the mount of God three days journey; and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them a days journey to prepare a resting place for them.

Where can I find meat to give to all this people? For they weep protesting to me, saying, Give us meat, that we may eat.

I am not able to bear all this people alone, because the burden is too heavy for me.

And Moses said to the people, Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow and you shall eat meat: for you have wept before the LORD, saying, Who shall give us meat to eat? For it was well with us in Egypt; therefore the LORD will give you meat, and you shall eat.

But you shall eat it for a whole month, till it comes out of your nostrils and it become loathsome to you, because you have despised the LORD who is among you and have wept before him, saying, Why did we come forth out of Egypt?

Shall the flocks and the herds be slaughtered for them, to suffice them? Or shall all the fish of the sea be caught for them, to suffice them?

But Moses said to him, Are you jealous for my sake? Would God that all the LORDS people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them!

And the people rose all that day and all that night and all the next day, and they gathered the quails; he that gathered least gathered ten homers; and they spread them out in the sun for themselves round about the camp.

AND Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman.

Then Caleb stilled the people before Moses and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

But the men who went up with him said, We are not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.
