But as I lifted up my voice and cried aloud, he left his garment in my hands, and fled, and got out to the street.

But the LORD was with Joseph, and showed him mercy, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

But remember me when it shall be well with you, and do me a favor and justice, and make mention of me in the presence of Pharaoh, and bring me out of this prison house;

But he crucified the chief baker, as Joseph had interpreted to them.

Yet the chief butler did not remember Joseph, but forgot him.

And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; so he sent and called for all the magicians and all the wise men of Egypt; and Pharaoh told them his dreams; but there was no man who could interpret them to Pharaoh.

And the thin ears devoured the seven good ears; and I told this to the magicians; but there was no one who could interpret these dreams to me.

But Benjamin, Josephs brother, Jacob did not send with his brothers; for he said, Lest some misfortune might befall him.

And Joseph saw his brothers and recognized them, but he deceived them and spoke harshly to them; and he said to them, Where have you come from? And they said, We came from the land of Canaan to buy grain.

And Joseph recognized his brothers, but they did not recognize him.

And they said to him, No, our lord, but to buy grain your servants have come.

And Joseph said to them, It is not so, but to get a report about the land you have come.

But bring your youngest brother to me; so shall your words be verified, and you shall not die. And they did so.

And Reuben answered and said to them, Did I not tell you, Do not sin against the boy; but you did not listen? So now his blood is required.

But we said to him, We are pious men; we are not spies;

And bring your youngest brother to me; then shall I know that you are not spies, but that you are pious men; so I will deliver your brother to you, and you shall trade in the land.

But if you will not send him, we will not go down; for the man said to us, You shall not see my face except your brother is with you.

And the servants took portions to them from before Joseph; but Benjamins portion was five times as much as any of theirs. And they drank and were merry with him.

And when they were gone out of the city, but not yet far off, Joseph said to the steward, Arise, pursue the men; and when you overtake them, say to them, Why have you returned evil for good?

And Joseph said to his brothers, I am Joseph your brother; is my father still alive? But his brothers could not answer him because they were afraid at his presence.
