or with any stone, whereby a man may die, not seeing him, and cast it on him, so that he died, and he wasn't his enemy, neither sought his harm;

and the congregation shall deliver the manslayer out of the hand of the avenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to his city of refuge, where he has fled: and he shall dwell therein until the death of the high priest, who was anointed with the holy oil.

But if the manslayer shall at any time go beyond the border of his city of refuge, where he flees,

and the avenger of blood finds him outside the border of his city of refuge, and the avenger of blood slays the manslayer; he shall not be guilty of blood,

because he should have remained in his city of refuge until the death of the high priest: but after the death of the high priest the manslayer shall return into the land of his possession.

And you shall take no ransom for someone to flee to his city of refuge, to come back to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest.

and they said, Yahweh commanded my lord to give the land for inheritance by lot to the sons of Israel: and my lord was commanded by Yahweh to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters.

So no inheritance of the sons of Israel shall remove from tribe to tribe; for the sons of Israel shall cleave every one to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.

And every daughter, that possesses an inheritance in any tribe of the sons of Israel, shall be wife to one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the sons of Israel may possess every man the inheritance of his fathers.

So no inheritance shall remove from one tribe to another tribe; for the tribes of the sons of Israel shall cleave every one to his own inheritance.

And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear [the causes] between your brothers, and judge righteously between a man and his brother, and the sojourner that is with him.

and in the wilderness, where you have seen how that Yahweh your God bore you, as a man does bear his son, in all the way that you went, until you came to this place.

save Caleb the son of Jephunneh: he shall see it; and to him I will give the land that he has trodden on, and to his sons, because he has wholly followed Yahweh.

Then you answered and said to me, We have sinned against Yahweh, we will go up and fight, according to all that Yahweh our God commanded us. And you girded on every man his weapons of war, and were forward to go up into the hill-country.

And Yahweh said to me, Don't vex Moab, neither contend with them in battle; for I will not give you of his land for a possession; because I have given Ar to the sons of Lot for a possession.

The Horites also dwelt in Seir previously, but the sons of Esau succeeded them; and they destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did to the land of his possession, which Yahweh gave to them.)

You rise up, take your journey, and pass over the valley of the Arnon: see, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land; begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.

But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him; for Yahweh your God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into your hand, as at this day.

And Yahweh said to me, Look, I have begun to deliver up Sihon and his land before you: begin to possess, that you may inherit his land.

Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Jahaz.
