So shall I have wherewith to answer him who reproaches me; for I trust in thy word.

So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.

So that those who revere thee may see and rejoice, because I have hoped in thy word.

Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.

Deliver me from the oppression of man; so will I keep thy statutes.

Behold, as the eyes of servants look towards their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden look towards her mistress; so also our eyes look towards the LORD our God, until he shall have mercy upon us.

As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

It is in vain for those who rise up early, who sit up late; they eat the bread of sorrows, for so he gives in sleep to his beloved.

Like arrows in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

So that my heart may not incline to evil things, and practise wicked works with men who work iniquity; let me not eat salt with them.

He has not dealt so with all nations; and his judgments he has not made known to them. Praise the LORD.

So you shall find favor, grace, and understanding in the sight of God and men.

So shall your barns be filled with plenty, and your wine presses shall burst out with new wine.

So shall they be life to your soul and grace to your neck.

So is he who goes in to his neighbors wife and touches her; he shall not be innocent.

So she caught him and kissed him, and, with an impudent face, said to him,

So that the simple ones may understand prudence and the fools understand in their heart.

But he does not know that the mighty men perish with her and that her guests are in the depths of Sheol. (9:19) Now rise up, and do not abide in that place; do not cast your eye at her; thus pass by the waters of strangers; cross over a strange river, and turn away from the waters of strangers; you shall not drink of the waters of strangers. For in doing so a multitude of days and years of life shall be added to you.

As the whirlwind passes suddenly, so wicked men shall perish and be no more; but the righteous are an everlasting foundation.

As unripe grapes are hurtful to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so does wickedness hurt those who indulge in it.
