I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees thee.

But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law does he meditate day and night.

Make thy Holy One a wonder and a Saviour to those who trust; but let him prevail against those that rise up against thy right hand.

They confronted me in the day of my extremity, but the LORD was my deliverer.

For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt humble the proud.

They shall cry, but there will be none to save them; they shall beg the LORD, but he will not answer them.

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will prevail through the name of the LORD our God.
