I prayed to you, Lord God, and you healed me,

I thank you from my heart, and I will never stop singing your praises, my Lord and my God.

You, Lord God, are my mighty rock and my fortress. Lead me and guide me, so that your name will be honored.

But I trust you, Lord , and I claim you as my God.

(A special psalm by David.) Our God, you bless everyone whose sins you forgive and wipe away.

You make our hearts glad because we trust you, the only God.

But God despises evil people, and he will wipe them all from the earth, till they are forgotten.

Fight to defend me, Lord God,

Let all who want me to win be happy and joyful. From now on let them say, "The Lord is wonderful! God is glad when all goes well for his servant."

Then I will shout all day, "Praise the Lord God! He did what was right."

(For the music leader by David, the Lord 's servant.) Sinners don't respect God; sin is all they think about.

I trust you, Lord God, and you will do something.

You are the Lord God! Stay nearby and don't desert me.

and you gave me a new song, a song of praise to you. Many will see this, and they will honor and trust you, the Lord God.

You, Lord God, have done many wonderful things, and you have planned marvelous things for us. No one is like you! I would never be able to tell all you have done.

I am poor and needy, but, Lord God, you care about me, and you come to my rescue. Please hurry and help.

(A psalm by David for the music leader.) You, Lord God, bless everyone who cares for the poor, and you rescue those people in times of trouble.

You, the Lord God of Israel, will be praised forever! Amen and amen.

(A special psalm for the people of Korah and for the music leader.) As a deer gets thirsty for streams of water, I truly am thirsty for you, my God.

In my heart, I am thirsty for you, the living God. When will I see your face?
