But to thee have I cried, O LORD; and in the morning shall my prayer come early before thee.

I am poor and afflicted from my youth; I have been proud, but now I am humbled and crushed.

But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him; and in my name shall his horn be exalted.

But thou hast forsaken us and despised us, thou hast made thine anointed one to turn his face.

For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

Thousands shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.

But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.

But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of a wild ox; I shall be anointed with fragrant oil.

But the LORD is my defense; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

For all the gods of the nations are idols; but the LORD made the heavens.

But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever, and thy remembrance to all generations.

They shall perish, but thou shalt endure; yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture, they shall fade.

But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.

But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that reverence him, and his righteousness to childrens children,

When they were but a few men in number, yea, very few, and strangers in it.

Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red Sea.

But they soon forgot God; they trusted not in his counsel,

But craved exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.

But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not to the voice of the LORD.

But they were mingled among the Gentiles, and learned their works.
