and it is told to you, and you have heard of it, then you shall inquire diligently; and see if it is true, and the thing certain, that such a disgusting thing is wrought in Israel,

according to all that you desired of Yahweh your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of Yahweh my God, neither let me see this great fire anymore, that I will not die.

and the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and see if the witness is a false witness, and has testified falsely against his brother;

When you go forth to battle against your enemies, and see horses, and chariots, [and] a people more than you, you shall not be afraid of them; for Yahweh your God is with you, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.

and see among the captives a beautiful woman, and you have a desire to her, and would take her to you as wife;

You shall not see your brother's ox or his sheep go astray, and hide yourself from them: you shall surely bring them again to your brother.

You shall not see your brother's donkey or his ox fallen down by the way, and hide yourself from them: you shall surely help him to lift them up again.

for Yahweh your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you, and to give up your enemies before you; therefore shall your camp be holy, that he may not see an unclean thing in you, and turn away from you.

And all the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of Yahweh; and they shall be afraid of you.

so that you shall be insane for the sight of your eyes which you shall see.

In the morning you shall say, Oh that it were evening! and at evening you shall say, Oh that it were morning! for the fear of your heart which you shall fear, and for the sight of your eyes which you shall see.

And Yahweh will bring you into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I said to you, You shall see it no more again: and there you shall sell yourselves to your enemies for male slaves and for female slaves, and no man shall buy you.

but Yahweh has not given you a heart to know, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, to this day.

And the generation to come, your sons that shall rise up after you, and the foreigner that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses with which Yahweh has made it sick;

See, I have set before you this day life and good, and death and evil;

when all Israel has come to see the face of Yahweh your God in the place which he shall choose, you shall read this law before all Israel in their hearing.

And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: For they are a very perverse generation, sons in whom is no faithfulness.

See now that I, even I, am he, And there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal; And there is none that can deliver out of my hand.

For you shall see the land before you; but you shall not go there into the land which I give the sons of Israel.

And Yahweh said to him, This is the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, I will give it to your seed: I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not go over there.
