But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against Jehovah, and know that your sin will find you out.

But your servants will go over, every man armed for war, before Jehovah to battle, as my lord says.

But if they will not go over armed with you, they shall have possession among you in the land of Canaan.

But if the manslayer at all goes out from the border of the city of his refuge, there to which he has fled,

And you returned and wept before Jehovah, but Jehovah did not listen to your voice, nor did He give ear to you.

they are reckoned to be giants, they too, like the Anakim; but the Moabites call them Emim.

But Jehovah was angry with me on your account, and would not listen to me. And Jehovah said to me, Let it be enough for you; do not speak any more to Me about this thing.

For I will not be in this land; I shall not pass over the Jordan. But you shall pass over, and shall possess this good land.

I call the heavens and the earth to witness against you today that you shall soon utterly perish from off the land to which you go over the Jordan to possess it; you shall not prolong your days on it, but shall utterly be destroyed.

Jehovah did not cut this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, these here today, all of us alive.

But as for you, you stand here by Me, and I will speak to you all the commandments and the statutes and the ordinances which you shall teach them, that they may do them in the land which I am giving to them, to possess it.

But you shall deal with them in this way: you shall break down their altars, and dash in pieces the cult-stones; and you shall cut down their Asherahs; and you will burn their carved images with fire.

But because Jehovah loved you, and because He kept the oath which He swore to your fathers, Jehovah has caused you to go out with a strong hand, and redeemed you from the house of slaves, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

And Jehovah shall turn aside every sickness from you; and He will not put on you any of the evil diseases of Egypt, which you have known, but He will put them on all who hate you.

And He has humbled you, and caused you to hunger, and caused you to eat the manna, which you had not known, and your fathers had not known, in order to cause you to know that man shall not live by bread alone, but man shall live by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of Jehovah.

But you shall remember Jehovah your God, for it is He who gives to you power to get wealth; that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

Do not say in your heart, when Jehovah your God thrusts them out from before you, saying, Jehovah has brought me in to possess this land for my righteousness. But say, Jehovah dispossesses them from before you because of the wickedness of those nations.

It is not for your righteousness or for the uprightness of your heart that you go to possess their land. But Jehovah your God is dispossessing them from before you because of the wickedness of these nations; and in order to establish the Word which Jehovah has sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

But your eyes see all the great work of Jehovah which He has done.
