And I saw thrones, and [fn] sat on them, and judgment was given to them, and to the souls that were beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God: and these are they who had not worshipped the beast of prey, nor its image, neither had they received the mark upon their forehead or on their hand; and they lived and reigned with their Messiah those thousand years.

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in this first resurrection: over them the second death hath no dominion; but they shall be, [fn] are, priests of God and of his Messiah; and they will reign with him the thousand years.

And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and encompassed the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven, and consumed them.

And the Accuser who seduced them, was cast into the lake of fire and sulphur, where also were the beast of prey and the false prophet: and they shall be tormented, day and night, for ever and ever.

And the sea gave up the dead in it; and death and the grave gave up the dead in them. And they were judged, each one according to his deeds.

And I heard a great voice from heaven, which said: Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men; and he dwelleth with them: they will be his people; and God will be with them, a God to them.

And they will bring the glory and honor of the nations into it.

And there shall not enter it, any thing polluted, or that practiseth impurity and falsehood; but they who are registered in the Lamb's book of life.

And they will see his face, and his name [fn] on their foreheads.

And there will be no more night; and they have no need of the light of a candle, or of the light of the sun; because the Lord God giveth them light: and they will reign for ever and ever.

Blessed are they who do his commandments, that they may have a right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
