If we say we ride for him, but we don't do what he says, then we are counterfeits and fakes and there is no truth in us at all.

But don't fret none, cowboys. You ride for God and have already defeated all these counterfeit cowboys. The Holy Ghost inside you is vastly more powerful than the lies in them.

But we are God's very own crew. Those who want to know him listen to us. Those who don't want to know him shun us. It's as simple as that. This is how we can tell the difference between authentic cowboys and counterfeit ones.

This is what tying hard and fast to love looks like. It's ain't about how much we love God, but about how much he loved us by sending his Son in order to forgive our sins.

Ain't no one ever laid eyes on God, but when we love others, he rides with us and we ride with him. His love makes us complete and authentic.

Jesus proved who he was when he was baptized in water and shed his blood on the cross. Not just one or the other, but by both. The Holy Ghost confirms that this is true.

If three witnesses on earth would validate a truth, then these three witnesses confirm the truth of who Jesus is. But really, we have only to listen to God, because he told us himself that Jesus was his Son.

Listen, we are all going to mess up and that is what it means to sin. But God is better as saving than we are at sinning . . . to an extent.
2 John 1:12
