Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance.

Stir up Yourself, and awake to my vindication, To my cause, my God and my Lord.

Vindicate me, O LORD my God, according to Your righteousness; And let them not rejoice over me.

An oracle within my heart concerning the transgression of the wicked: There is no fear of God before his eyes.

How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.

The law of his God is in his heart; None of his steps shall slide.

For in You, O LORD, I hope; You will hear, O Lord my God.

Do not forsake me, O LORD; O my God, be not far from me!

He has put a new song in my mouth-- Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the LORD.

Many, O LORD my God, are Your wonderful works Which You have done; And Your thoughts toward us Cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of them, They are more than can be numbered.

I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my heart."

But I am poor and needy; Yet the LORD thinks upon me. You are my help and my deliverer; Do not delay, O my God.

Blessed be the LORD God of Israel From everlasting to everlasting! Amen and Amen.

To the Chief Musician. A Contemplation [fn] of the sons of Korah. As the deer pants for the water brooks,So pants my soul for You, O God.

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.When shall I come and appear before God? [fn]

My tears have been my food day and night, While they continually say to me, "Where is your God?"

When I remember these things, I pour out my soul within me. For I used to go with the multitude; I went with them to the house of God, With the voice of joy and praise, With a multitude that kept a pilgrim feast.

Why are you cast down, O my soul?And why are you disquieted within me?Hope in God, for I shall yet praise HimFor the help of His countenance. [fn]

O my God, Psalms 42:5.">[fn] my soul is cast down within me;Therefore I will remember You from the land of the Jordan,And from the heights of Hermon,From the Hill Mizar.

The LORD will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, And in the night His song shall be with me-- A prayer to the God of my life.
