In this way he made the ten water carts using the same casting, dimensions, and shape for all of them.

Then he made ten bronze basins—each basin held 220 gallons and each was six feet wide—one basin for each of the ten water carts.

I have provided a place there for the ark,where the Lord’s covenant isthat he made with our ancestorswhen he brought them out of the land of Egypt.

may you hear in heaven and act.May you judge your servants,condemning the wicked man by bringingwhat he has done on his own headand providing justice for the righteousby rewarding him according to his righteousness.

may you hear in heavenand forgive the sin of your servantsand your people Israel,so that you may teach them the good waythey should walk in.May you send rain on your landthat you gave your people for an inheritance.

may you hear in heaven, your dwelling place,and may you forgive, act, and give to everyoneaccording to all their ways, since you know each heart,for you alone know every human heart,

Even for the foreigner who is not of your people Israelbut has come from a distant landbecause of your name—

for they will hear of your great name,strong hand, and outstretched arm,and will come and pray toward this temple—

When your people go out to fight against their enemies,wherever you send them,and they pray to the Lordin the direction of the city you have chosenand the temple I have built for your name,
