But now, this is what the LORD says, He who is your Creator, Jacob, And He who formed you, Israel: "Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!

But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

"For I am the LORD your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I have given Egypt as your ransom, Cush and Seba in exchange for you.

For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.

"Since you are precious in My sight, Since you are honored and I love you, I will give other people in your place and other nations in exchange for your life.

Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.

"Do not fear, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, And gather you from the west.

Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;

"I will say to the north, 'Give them up!' And to the south, 'Do not hold them back.' Bring My sons from afar And My daughters from the ends of the earth,

I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;

Everyone who is called by My name, And whom I have created for My glory, Whom I have formed, even whom I have made."

Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

Bring out the people who are blind, even though they have eyes, And those who are deaf, even though they have ears.

Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.

All the nations have gathered together So that the peoples may be assembled. Who among them can declare this And proclaim to us the former things? Let them present their witnesses so that they may be justified, Or let them hear and say, "It is true."

Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.

"You are My witnesses," declares the LORD, "And My servant whom I have chosen, So that you may know and believe Me And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, And there will be none after Me.

Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord , and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

"I, only I, am the LORD, And there is no savior besides Me.

I, even I, am the Lord ; and beside me there is no saviour.

"It is I who have declared and saved and proclaimed, And there was no strange god among you; So you are My witnesses," declares the LORD, "And I am God.

I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord , that I am God.

"Even from eternity I am He, And there is no one who can rescue from My hand; I act, and who can reverse it?"

Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?

This is what the LORD your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says: "For your sake I have sent to Babylon, And will bring them all down as fugitives, Even the Chaldeans, into the ships over which they rejoice.

Thus saith the Lord , your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.

"I am the LORD, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King."

I am the Lord , your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.

This is what the LORD says, He who makes a way through the sea And a path through the mighty waters,

Thus saith the Lord , which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;

Who brings out the chariot and the horse, The army and the mighty man (They will lie down together and not rise again; They have been extinguished, and have gone out like a wick):

Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.

"Do not call to mind the former things, Or consider things of the past.

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

"Behold, I am going to do something new, Now it will spring up; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

"The animals of the field will glorify Me, The jackals and the ostriches, Because I have given waters in the wilderness And rivers in the desert, To give drink to My chosen people.

The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.

"The people whom I formed for Myself Will declare My praise.

This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.

"Yet you have not called on Me, Jacob; But you have become weary of Me, Israel.

But thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast been weary of me, O Israel.

"You have not brought to Me the sheep of your burnt offerings, Nor have you honored Me with your sacrifices. I have not burdened you with offerings, Nor wearied you with incense.

Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense.

"You have not bought Me sweet cane with money, Nor have you satisfied Me with the fat of your sacrifices; Rather, you have burdened Me with your sins, You have wearied Me with your wrongdoings.

Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.

"I, I alone, am the one who wipes out your wrongdoings for My own sake, And I will not remember your sins.

I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

"Meet Me in court, let's argue our case together; State your cause, so that you may be proved right.

Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.

"Your first forefather sinned, And your spokesmen have rebelled against Me.

Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me.

"So I will profane the officials of the sanctuary, And I will turn Jacob over to destruction and Israel to abuse.

Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.
