Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His mercy is everlasting.
Psalms 118:1
O give thanks unto the Lord ; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.
Let Israel say, "His mercy is everlasting."
Psalms 118:2
Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
Oh let the house of Aaron say, "His mercy is everlasting."
Psalms 118:3
Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
Let those who fear the LORD say, "His mercy is everlasting."
Psalms 118:4
Let them now that fear the Lord say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
From my distress I called upon the LORD; The LORD answered me and put me in an open space.
Psalms 118:5
I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.
The LORD is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me?
Psalms 118:6
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
The LORD is for me among those who help me; Therefore I will look with satisfaction on those who hate me.
Psalms 118:7
The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD Than to trust in people.
Psalms 118:8
It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD Than to trust in noblemen.
Psalms 118:9
It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.
All nations surrounded me; In the name of the LORD I will certainly fend them off.
Psalms 118:10
All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord will I destroy them.
They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me; In the name of the LORD I will certainly fend them off.
Psalms 118:11
They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.
They surrounded me like bees; They were extinguished like a fire of thorn bushes; In the name of the LORD I will certainly fend them off.
Psalms 118:12
They compassed me about like bees: they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.
You pushed me violently so that I was falling, But the LORD helped me.
Psalms 118:13
Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the Lord helped me.
The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.
Psalms 118:14
The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
The sound of joyful shouting and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; The right hand of the LORD performs valiantly.
Psalms 118:15
The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.
The right hand of the LORD is exalted; The right hand of the LORD performs valiantly.
Psalms 118:16
The right hand of the Lord is exalted: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.
I will not die, but live, And tell of the works of the LORD.
Psalms 118:17
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord .
The LORD has disciplined me severely, But He has not turned me over to death.
Psalms 118:18
The Lord hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
Open the gates of righteousness to me; I will enter through them, I will give thanks to the LORD.
Psalms 118:19
Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the Lord :
This is the gate of the LORD; The righteous will enter through it.
Psalms 118:20
This gate of the Lord , into which the righteous shall enter.
I will give thanks to You, for You have answered me, And You have become my salvation.
Psalms 118:21
I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
A stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone.
Psalms 118:22
The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
This came about from the LORD; It is marvelous in our eyes.
Psalms 118:23
This is the Lord 's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
This is the day which the LORD has made; Let's rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalms 118:24
This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Please, O LORD, do save us; Please, O LORD, do send prosperity!
Psalms 118:25
Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord : O Lord , I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the LORD; We have blessed you from the house of the LORD.
Psalms 118:26
Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord : we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord .
The LORD is God, and He has given us light; Bind the festival sacrifice to the horns of the altar with cords.
Psalms 118:27
God is the Lord , which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
You are my God, and I give thanks to You; You are my God, I exalt You.
Psalms 118:28
Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.
Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His mercy is everlasting.
Psalms 118:29
O give thanks unto the Lord ; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
