Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, And His praise in the assembly of saints.
Psalms 149:1
Sing to the Lord a new song: his praise is in the assembly of the saints.
Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
Psalms 149:2
Let Israel rejoice in him that made him; and let the children of Sion exult in their king.
Let them praise His name with the dance; Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp.
Psalms 149:3
Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sings praises to him with timbrel and psaltery.
For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation.
Psalms 149:4
For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; and will exalt the meek with salvation.
Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds.
Psalms 149:5
The saints shall rejoice in glory; and shall exult on their beds.
Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand,
Psalms 149:6
The high praises of God shall be in their throat, and two-edged swords in their hands;
To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples;
Psalms 149:7
to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments among the peoples;
To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron;
Psalms 149:8
to bind their kings with fetters, and their nobles with manacles of iron;
To execute on them the written judgment-- This honor have all His saints. Praise the LORD!
Psalms 149:9
to execute on them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints.
