2 Chronicles 24:22

King Joash didn’t remember the kindness that Zechariah’s father Jehoiada had extended to him, but killed his son. While he was dying, he said, “May the Lord see and demand an account.” Thus Yo'ash the king didn't remember the kindness which Yehoiada his father had done to him, but killed his son. When he died, he said, the LORD look on it, and require it. Thus Joash the king remembered not the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but slew his son. And when he died, he said, The Lord look upon it, and require it. Thus Joash the king did not remember the kindness that Jehoiada, Zechariah's father, had shown him, but killed his son. Here was a most signal display of the Divine retribution.
