My eyes will now be open and my ears attentive to prayer from this place. Now my eyes shall be open, and my ears attentive, to the prayer that is made in this place. The prayer that is made in this place - literally, as in the margin. The unsual phrase includes the two cases of prayers offered in 2 Chronicles 6:24 and toward 2 Chronicles 6:34, 2 Chronicles 6:38 the sanctuary.
