Then all the trees of the field will know that I am the LORD. I bring the tall tree down, and make the low tree tall. I dry up the green tree and make the withered tree flourish. I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will do it.'"
Every tree in the forest will know that I, the Lord , can bring down tall trees and help short ones grow. I dry up green trees and make dry ones green. I, the Lord , have spoken, and I will keep my word.
Then all the trees of the field will know that I, Adonai , bring down the tall tree and raise up the low tree, wither the green tree and make the withered tree bear fruit. I, Adonai , have spoken; and I will do it.'"
And all the trees of the field shall know that I Jehovah have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and made the dry tree to flourish: I Jehovah have spoken, and will do [it].
"Then the other trees will know that I, the Lord , make tall trees fall to the ground, and I make small trees grow tall. I make green trees become dry, and I make dry trees become green. I am the Lord . If I say that I will do something, then I will do it!"

All the trees in the land will know that I am the Lord . I cut down the tall trees and make small trees grow tall. I wither up the green trees and make the dry trees become green. I, the Lord , have spoken. I will do what I have said I would do."
And all of the trees of the field will know that I, Yahweh, I will bring low a high tree, and I will exalt a low, fresh tree, and I will make a dry tree flourish. I, Yahweh, I have spoken, and I will do it.'"

And it will be clear to all the trees of the field that I the Lord have made low the high tree and made high the low tree, drying up the green tree and making the dry tree full of growth; I the Lord have said it and have done it.

And alle trees of the cuntrei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord; Y made low the hiy tre, and Y enhaunside the low tre, and Y made drie the greene tree, and Y made the drie tree to brynge forth boowis; Y the Lord haue spoke, and Y haue do.

And all the trees will know that it is I, the Lord , who cuts the tall tree down and makes the short tree grow tall. It is I who makes the green tree wither and gives the dead tree new life. I, the Lord , have spoken, and I will do what I said!"
Then all the trees of the field will know that I am the Lord. I bring down the high tree and make the low tree grow tall. I dry up the green tree, and make the dry tree become green. I, the Lord, have spoken, and I will do what I say."

So shall all the trees of the field know that I Yahweh Have laid low the high tree Have exalted the low tree, Have dried up the moist tree, And have caused to flourish the tree, that was dry, - I, Yahweh, have spoken, and performed.
And all the trees of the country shall know that I the Lord have brought down the high tree, and exalted the low tree: and have dried up the green tree, and have caused the dry tree to flourish. I the Lord have spoken and have done it.

And all the trees of the field shall know,.... All the nations of the World, and the great ones, and the mighty men of the earth, shall know, own, and acknowledge, when the above things are accomplished:
that I the Lord have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: some by the high and green tree understand Zedekiah, who was brought low; and by the "low" and "dry tree", Jeconiah, who was raised by the king of Babylon, Jeremiah 52:11; this is Jarchi's sense, and is mentioned by Kimchi: others, by the former, think Nebuchadnezzar and the Babylonish monarchy are intended, which were brought down; and, by the latter, the house of David, and kingdom of Judah, which were exalted: though rather by the one are meant the people of the Jews, once the people of God, but now cast off; and by the other the Gentiles, called by the grace of God, and received by him: though it seems best of all to interpret the "high and green tree" of the mighty kingdoms of this world, which will be put down by Christ; and the "low and dry tree" of his kingdom and interest, which shall flourish and spread abundantly, and be an everlasting kingdom; see Daniel 2:44;

The trees fo the field - The kingdoms of the world as contrasted with the kingdom of God. The truth here enunciated is a general one. God gives the promise, God fulfils it.
Clarke's Notes on the Bible
Verse Ezekiel 17:24. All the trees of the field shall know — All the people of Israel and of Chaldea.
I the Lord have brought down the high tree — Have dethroned Jehoiachin.
Have exalted the low tree — Put Zedekiah, brother of Jehoiachin, in his place.
Have dried up the green tree — Zedekiah, who had numerous children, but who were all slain before his eyes at Riblah.
And have made the dry tree to flourish — Have raised up a rod out of the stem of Jesse, the family of David being then apparently dried up and extinct. This was the promised Messiah, of the increase and government of whose kingdom and peace there shall be no end; upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order and establish it with judgment and with justice, from henceforth, even for ever. THE ZEAL OF THE LORD OF HOSTS WILL PERFORM THIS.
The high and green tree, says Newcome, refers to Nebuchadnezzar; the low and the dry tree, to the Jews.
