While I was doing this, some Jews from Asia found me ritually purified in the temple, without a crowd and without any uproar.
Wherupon certaine Iewes from Asia found me purified in the Temple, neither with multitude, nor with tumult:

This is what I was doing when I was found going through a ceremony in the temple. I wasn't with a crowd, and there was no uproar.
It was in connection with the latter that they found me in the Temple. I had been ceremonially purified, I was not with a crowd, and I was not causing a disturbance.
Whereupon they found me purified in the temple, with neither crowd nor tumult. But it was certain Jews from Asia,
At what time, certaine Iewes of Asia founde mee purified in the Temple, neither with multitude, nor with tumult.
It was while I was doing this that they found me in the Temple after I had completed the ceremony of purification. There was no crowd with me and no disorder.

And these found me in the temple being purified, not with a concourse nor with tumult; but men Jihudoyee who had come from Asia raised a tumult;
And when I had purified myself, these men found me in the temple; not with a throng, nor with a tumult. But certain Jews, who came from Asia, were tumultuous;
In the which they founde me purified in the temple, neither with multitude, nor yet with vnquietnesse: Howbeit, there were certayne Iewes out of Asia,
amidst which they found me purified in the temple, with no crowd, nor yet with tumult: but there were certain Jews from Asia—

in whiche thei founden me purified in the temple, not with company, nether with noise. And thei cauyten me, and thei crieden, and seiden, Take awei oure enemye.

My accusers saw me in the Temple as I was completing a purification ceremony. There was no crowd around me and no rioting.
Some Jews from the countries of Asia found me in the house of God after I had gone through the worship of washing. There were no people around me and there was no noise or fighting.
While I was doing this, they found me in the temple, completing the rite of purification, without any crowd or disturbance.
but certain Jews from Asia caused it , -
In which I was found purified in the temple: neither with multitude nor with tumult.
As I was doing this, they found me purified in the temple, without any crowd or tumult. But some Jews from Asia--
in the which they founde me purified in the teple nether with multitude nor yet wt vnquyetnes How beit there were certayne Iewes out of Asia
in which certain Jews from Asia did find me purified in the temple, not with multitude, nor with tumult,
whervpon they founde me purifyed in the temple without eny maner of rumoure or vnquyetnesse. Howbeit there were certayne Iewes out of Asia,
there religiously employ'd some Asiatic Jews found me, without crowd or tumult:
They did find me in the main church as they said, but all I was doing was completing a purification ceremony. No one was around me, and there was certainly no riot.

Whereupon,.... Or "among which"; while the apostle was busy about the offerings of the Nazarites:
certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple; and therefore could not be said to profane it; this he observes in answer to the charge of his attempting to profane it, and acquaints the governor how that was; as that having joined himself to four men that had a vow upon them, and being in the temple purifying himself with them, certain Jews that came from Ephesus, in Asia, who knew him there, and had a pique against him, found him here; not profaning the temple, as they pretended, but acting according to the worship and service of it; and that,
neither with a multitude; for there were but four men with him;
nor with tumult; making any noise and riot, or stirring up persons to sedition and rebellion.
