Then she said to her husband, “I know that the one who often passes by here is a holy man of God,
She said to her husband, See now, I perceive that this is a holy man of God, that passes by us continually.
And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually.
And she said to her husband, "Behold now, I know that this is a holy man of God who is continually passing our way.

Some time later the woman said to her husband, "I'm sure the man who comes here so often is a prophet of God.
She said to her husband, "I can see that this is a holy man of God who keeps stopping at our place.
And she said to her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is a holy man of God, who passes by us continually.
The woman said to her husband, "Look, I can see that Elisha is a holy man of God. He passes by our house all the time.
And she said to her husband, Behold now, I perceive that the prophet of God is a holy man who passes by us continually.
She said to her husband, "I am sure that this man who comes here so often is a holy man.
She said to her husband, "Please now, I know that he is a holy man of God who is passing our way regularly;
And she said to her husband, Behold now, I know that he is a holy man of God who passes by us continually.
And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is a holy man of God, that passeth by us continually.
And she said to her husband, Now I see that this is a holy man of God, who comes by day after day.
And she saide vnto her husband: Beholde, I perceaue that this is an holy man of God which passeth by vs continually.

and she saith unto her husband, `Lo, I pray thee, I have known that a holy man of God he is, passing over by us continually;
And she said to her husband, Look now, I perceive that this is a holy man of God, that passes by us continually.
And she said to her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this [is] a holy man of God, who passeth by us continually.
She said to her husband, See now, I perceive that this is a holy man of God, that passes by us continually.
And she said to her husband, "Look now, I know that this is a holy man of God, who passes by us regularly.
She said to her husband, "I am sure this man who stops in from time to time is a holy man of God.
She said to her husband, "Now I see that this is a holy man of God who is always passing by.
She said to her husband, "Look, I am sure that this man who regularly passes our way is a holy man of God.
Then said she unto her husband, Lo! I pray thee - I perceive that, a holy man of God, he is, - passing our way continually.
And she said to her husband: I perceive that this is a holy man of God, who often passeth by us.
And she said to her husband, "Behold now, I perceive that this is a holy man of God, who is continually passing our way.
"I'm certain," said the woman to her husband, "that this man who stops by with us all the time is a holy man of God. Why don't we add on a small room upstairs and furnish it with a bed and desk, chair and lamp, so that when he comes by he can stay with us?"
She said to her husband, "Behold now, I perceive that this is a holy man of God passing by us continually.

And she said unto her husband,.... Not being willing to do any thing without his leave and consent:
behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God which passeth by us continually: and calls here frequently: this she perceived by his discourse and conversation; and by his carriage and behaviour he appeared to be a prophet, and one very eminent for holiness and religion.

Verse 2 Kings 4:9. This is a holy man of God — That is, a prophet, as the Chaldee interprets it.
Which passeth by us continually. — It probably lay in his way to some school of the prophets that he usually attended.
