These are the city’s measurements:
These shall be the measures of it: the north side four thousand and five hundred, and the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five hundred.
And these shall be the measures thereof; the north side four thousand and five hundred, and the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five hundred.

The city will be a square: Each side will be a mile and a half long,
and will measure 4,500 cubits [just under one-and-a-half miles] along each of its sides — north, south, east and west.
And these shall be the measures thereof: the north side four thousand and five hundred [cubits], and the south side four thousand and five hundred, and the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five hundred.
These are the city's measurements: The north side will be 4500 cubits. The south side will be 4500 cubits. The east side will be 4500 cubits. The west side will be 4500 cubits.
And these shall be its dimensions: the north side four thousand and five hundred cubits, the east side four thousand and five hundred cubits, the south side four thousand and five hundred cubits, and the west side four thousand and five hundred cubits.
and it will be a square, 2,520 yards on each side.
And these shall be its measurements: on its side to the north, four thousand five hundred cubits; and on its side to the south, four thousand five hundred cubits; and on the eastern side, four thousand five hundred cubits; and on the western side, four thousand five hundred cubits.
And these shall be its measures: the north side, four thousand and five hundred; and the south side, four thousand and five hundred cubits ; and the east side, four thousand and fivehundred; and the west side, four thousandand five hundred.
Let this be the measure: towarde ye north parte, v.C. & iiij.M: towarde the south parte, v.C. & iiij.M: towarde the east parte, v.C. and iiij.M: towarde ye west parte, v.C. and iiij.M.

Then the man said, "Your name will no longer be Jacob. Your name will now be Israel, because you have wrestled with God and with people, and you have won."
Some time later Joseph learned that his father was very sick, so he took his two sons Manasseh and Ephraim and went to his father.
When Joseph arrived, someone told Jacob, "Your son Joseph has come to see you." Jacob was weak, so he used all his strength and sat up on his bed.
He said to me, ‘I will give you many children. I will make you the father of many peoples, and I will give your descendants this land forever.'
Your two sons, who were born here in Egypt before I came, will be counted as my own sons. Ephraim and Manasseh will be my sons just as Reuben and Simeon are my sons.

He put Ephraim on his right side and Manasseh on his left. (So Ephraim was near Israel's left hand, and Manasseh was near Israel's right hand.) Joseph brought the boys close to Israel.

And this shall be the measures thereof,.... Of the city:
the north side four thousand and five hundred; that is, measures or reeds:
the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five hundred; in all eighteen hundred measures or reeds, as in
Ezekiel 48:35 which denotes the largeness of the Gospel church, especially in the latter day; when Jews and Gentiles will be converted, and multitudes, east, west, north and south, will be gathered to it; and as it is an equilateral square, this shows the perfection, firmness, stability, and duration of the church of Christ; so the holy city, the New Jerusalem, is for the same reasons said to be foursquare,
Revelation 21:16.
