" God 's Passover is to be held on the fourteenth day of the first month. On the fifteenth day of this month hold a festival. "For seven days, eat only unraised bread: Begin the first day in holy worship; don't do any regular work that day. Bring a Fire-Gift to God , a Whole-Burnt-Offering: two young bulls, one ram, and seven male yearling lambs—all healthy. Prepare a Grain-Offering of six quarts of fine flour mixed with oil for each bull, four quarts for the ram, and two quarts for each lamb, plus a goat as an Absolution-Offering to atone for you. "Sacrifice these in addition to the regular morning Whole-Burnt-Offering. Prepare the food this way for the Fire-Gift, a pleasing fragrance to God , every day for seven days. Prepare it in addition to the regular Whole-Burnt-Offering and Drink-Offering. "Conclude the seventh day in holy worship; don't do any regular work on that day. 16 "‘The Lord 's Passover will be on the fourteenth day of the first month. 17 The Feast of Unleavened Bread begins on the fifteenth day of that month. For seven days, you may eat only bread made without yeast. 18 Have a holy meeting on the first day of the festival, and don't work that day. 19 Bring to the Lord an offering made by fire, a burnt offering of two young bulls, one male sheep, and seven male lambs a year old. They must have nothing wrong with them. 20 With each bull give a grain offering of six quarts of fine flour mixed with olive oil. With the male sheep it must be four quarts of fine flour mixed with oil. 21 With each of the seven lambs, it must be two quarts of fine flour mixed with oil. 22 Bring one goat as a sin offering, to remove your sins so you will belong to God. 23 Bring these offerings in addition to the burnt offerings you give every morning. 24 So bring food for the offering made by fire each day for seven days, for a smell that is pleasing to the Lord . And in the fourteenth day of the first month,.... The month Nisan, as the Targum of Jonathan or Abib, which, upon the Israelites coming out of Egypt, and on that account, was made the first month; otherwise Tisri or September was the first month, see Exodus 12:2,
[is] the passover of the Lord; a feast in which a lamb was killed and eaten, in memory of the Lord's passing over the houses of the Israelites, when he slew the firstborn in Egypt; see Exodus 12:6.
Barnes' Notes on the Bible
The Passover offering was the same as that of the New moon, and was repeated on each of the seven days of the festival, thus marking the importance and the solemnity of the occasion. The details of the offering had not been previously prescribed.
