THE MESSAGE

And men of Sirie fledden, and Israel pursuede hem; also Benadab, kyng of Sirie, fledde on an hors with his kniytis. 21 Also the king of Israel yede out, and smoot horsis and charis, and he smoot Sirie with a ful greet veniaunce.

So these young men of the princes of the provinces came out of the city,.... First, as before observed, and marched forwards towards the Syrian camp:
