Maka oleh Delila diambil tali rami yang baharu, diikatnya Simson dengan dia, lalu katanya: Hai Simson, orang Filistin menyergap akan dikau! (Adapun orang pengadang itu adalah duduk dalam bilik). Maka diputuskan Simson tali itu lepas dari pada lengannya seperti benang selembar juga adanya.
