24In those days Hezekiah became sick to the point of death, so he prayed to the Lord, and he spoke to him and gave him a miraculous sign. 24 In those days Hizkiyahu was sick even to death: and he prayed to the LORD; and he spoke to him, and gave him a sign. 24 In those days Hezekiah was sick to the death, and prayed unto the Lord : and he spake unto him, and he gave him a sign. 24 In those days Hezekiah became sick and was at the point of death, and he prayed to the Lord , and he answered him and gave him a sign. 24 At that time Hezekiah became so sick he almost died. When he prayed to the Lord , the Lord spoke to him and gave him a sign. 24 In those days Hezekiah was stricken with a terminal illness. He prayed to the Lord , who answered him and gave him a sign confirming that he would be healed. 24In those days Hezekiah became terminally ill; and he prayed to the LORD, and He answered him and gave him a [miraculous] sign. 24 In those days Hezekiah became mortally ill; and he prayed to the LORD, and the LORD spoke to him and gave him a sign. 24 In those days Hezekiah was sick even to death: and he prayed to Yahweh; and he spoke to him, and gave him a sign. 24 In those dayes Hezekiah was sicke vnto the death, and prayed vnto the Lorde, who spake vnto him, and gaue him a signe.

Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and his goodness,.... His acts of piety and liberality:

behold, they are written in the vision of Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz; in the prophecy of Isaiah, Isaiah 36:1, whose book is called the Vision of Isaiah, Isaiah 1:1

and in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel; in

2 Kings 18:1.

And in the book - The “and” is not in the original. The meaning is, that the acts were recorded in the prophecy of Isaiah, which formed a part of the compilation known as “the Book of the Kings of Judah and Israel.” See Introduction.
