Psalms 96:0

Historical Background - The entirety of Psalms 96:0 is a part of the praise that was sung by King David in the processional that led the ark into Jerusalem for the first time (See 1 Chronicles 16:23-33).

Characteristics - Psalms 96:0 begins and ends with the same verses that Psalms 98:0 begin and end with.

Psalms 96:13 Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

Psalms 96:13 Scripture References - Note:

Acts 17:31, “Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.”
