lə·yiś·rā·’êl.

לְיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

And commanded

the strangers

way·ya·‘ă·mêḏ

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm.

הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃

וּבַרְזֶ֣ל ׀

in abundance

to make the nails

lam·mis·mə·rîm

לַֽמִּסְמְרִ֞ים

for the doors

lə·ḏal·ṯō·wṯ

of the gates

haš·šə·‘ā·rîm

הַשְּׁעָרִ֛ים

and for the joinings

wə·lam·ḥab·bə·rō·wṯ

וְלַֽמְחַבְּר֖וֹת

in abundance

the Zidonians

haṣ·ṣî·ḏō·nîm

הַצִּֽידֹנִ֨ים

and they of Tyre

wə·haṣ·ṣō·rîm

וְהַצֹּרִ֜ים

and the house

wə·hab·ba·yiṯ

[that is] to be build

for the LORD

לְהַגְדִּ֨יל ׀

[must be] exceedingly

and of glory

ū·lə·ṯip̄·’e·reṯ

וּלְתִפְאֶ֙רֶת֙

throughout all

hā·’ă·rā·ṣō·wṯ,

הָ֣אֲרָצ֔וֹת

[therefore] make preparation

and prepared

Then he called

and charged him

way·ṣaw·wê·hū

וַיְצַוֵּ֙הוּ֙

for the LORD

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

But the word

you have shed

ū·mil·ḥā·mō·wṯ

וּמִלְחָמ֥וֹת

you have shed

on the earth

shall be born

and I will give him rest

wa·hă·ni·ḥō·w·ṯî

וַהֲנִח֥וֹתִי

and quietness

[will be] his father

and I will establish

wa·hă·ḵî·nō·w·ṯî

וַהֲכִ֨ינוֹתִ֜י

of his kingdom

you and prosper

wə·hiṣ·laḥ·tā,

וְהִצְלַחְתָּ֗

you and build

’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā,

the LORD you

and understanding

give you charge

wî·ṣaw·wə·ḵā

וִֽיצַוְּךָ֖

that you may keep

wə·liš·mō·wr

וְלִשְׁמ֕וֹר

’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā.

shall you prosper

you take heed

the statutes

ham·miš·pā·ṭîm,

הַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֔ים

and of good courage

I have prepared

hă·ḵî·nō·w·ṯî

הֲכִינ֣וֹתִי

for the house

and of silver

and of bronze

wə·lan·nə·ḥō·šeṯ

וְלַנְּחֹ֤שֶׁת

wə·lab·bar·zel

וְלַבַּרְזֶל֙

they are in great

also and stone

wa·’ă·ḇā·nîm

have I prepared

hă·ḵî·nō·w·ṯî,

הֲכִינ֔וֹתִי

wa·‘ă·lê·hem

and with you

wə·‘im·mə·ḵā

in abundance

and all manner

skillfully men

kind of work

and the bronze

wə·lan·nə·ḥō·šeṯ

וְלַנְּחֹ֥שֶׁת

and the iron

wə·lab·bar·zel

וְלַבַּרְזֶ֖ל

[there is] number

[therefore] and be doing

also commanded

[is] the LORD

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem

אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם֙

[not] you? and has he given you rest

he has given

into my hand

the inhabitants

and is subdued

wə·niḵ·bə·šāh

וְנִכְבְּשָׁ֥ה

and your soul

wə·nap̄·šə·ḵem,

וְנַפְשְׁכֶ֔ם

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem;

and build you

the sanctuary

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm,

הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים

of the covenant

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm,

הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים

into the house

that is to be build

for the name
