In that night

בַּלַּ֣יְלָה

I shall give

covenant loyalty

and have made me to reign

wə·him·laḵ·ta·nî

וְהִמְלַכְתַּ֖נִי

in his place

תַּחְתָּֽיו׃

be established

let your promise

də·ḇā·rə·ḵā,

have made me king

him·laḵ·ta·nî,

הִמְלַכְתַּ֔נִי

in multitude

of the earth

and knowledge

that I may go out

wə·’ê·ṣə·’āh

wə·’ā·ḇō·w·’āh;

hag·gā·ḏō·wl.

lə·ḇā·ḇe·ḵā,

nor the life

of your enemies

śō·nə·’e·ḵā,

and Yet also

šā·’ā·lə·tā;

but have asked

wat·tiš·’al-

וַתִּֽשְׁאַל־

and knowledge

you may judge

תִּשְׁפּוֹט֙

I have made you king

him·laḵ·tî·ḵā

הִמְלַכְתִּ֖יךָ

ha·ḥā·ḵə·māh

and knowledge

wə·ham·mad·dā‘

וְהַמַּדָּ֖ע

[is] granted

and you riches

and I will give

of the kings

lam·mə·lā·ḵîm

לַמְּלָכִים֙

[have been] before

lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā,

and shall there any after you

wə·’a·ḥă·re·ḵā

וְאַחֲרֶ֖יךָ

from the high

bə·ḡiḇ·‘ō·wn

בְּגִבְעוֹן֙

to Jerusalem

yə·rū·šā·lim,

יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם

וַיִּמְלֹ֖ךְ

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

And gathered

way·ye·’ĕ·sōp̄

and horsemen

ū·p̄ā·rā·šîm

וּפָרָשִׁים֒

and that he placed

way·yan·nî·ḥêm

וַיַּנִּיחֵם֙

in the chariot

at Jerusalem

בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
